There are many benefits to using one of our pre-made virtual machines. Not only is obyx and all of it's dependencies already compiled but there are example applications that have been prepared especially to demonstrate the functionality and are ready to tinker with.
To start the Virtual machine you will need to create a new security group with access to both port 22 and port 80. Once the virtual machine has started you can navigate to it in a web browser to see some of the example applications.
To use a pre-configured virtual machine hosted on Amazon EC2 Please use one of the following AMI's. You can find EC2 HERE.
To use the images simply open an account and search the community AMI's for the ID mentioned below.
